  • Union Minister of consumers affairs, food and public distribution Piyush Goyal inaugurated the country's first food museum
     
  • Established by the Food Corporation of India in Thanjavur
     
  • Co-developed by FCI and Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museums, Bengaluru
     
  • Thanjavur is the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu
     
  • Tamil Nadu will now be home to agricultural history of India
